View the stunning vistas from the sea like the town of Cobh with the Cathedral as a backdrop, Spike Island, Roches Point, Haulbowline home to our Navy and more……..A fantastic session for both tourists and those who want to give yachting a go. Competent Crew

Basic knowledge of sea terms. Introduction to steering. Introduction to sail handling. Introduction to ropework. Demonstration of navigation and pilotage.

“Holy Grounder” is a Beneteau First 36.7. She is 36′ long and has accommodation for 8 crew. She is spacious, modern and fast yet comfortable and forgiving!
Gain an appreciation of what yacht sailing entails.
Cork Harbour
The Boat has full safety equipment, all nav. aids and powerful engines. The safety equipment includes lifejackets and harnesses for each crew member. Waterproofs are available on request.
Soft bag with change of warm clothes
Coffee and cake or scones served on board.
