You will start with an introduction to the area by your Instructor who will accompany you all the way to keep you safe and so that you will get the most out of paddling in our area. We will show you some amazing nuggets of beauty along the shores or Great island and East Ferry.

Arrive ready to go afloat. You WILL get wet so bring a wetsuit, change of clothes, light rain jacket, water shoes, towel.

What to bring | 1. Arrive wearing clothes to go afloat which WILL get wet. 2. A light rain jacket to prevent wind chill. 3. A towel and change of clothes. You cannot go afloat without appropriate clothing. |

Syllabus | Briefing on weather, tides, location, the route, safety afloat. Explore the eastern part of Cork Harbour and the Owenacurra River. Destinations can be Marlogue Wood, Belgrove Wood, East Ferry (Midleton), Ballinacurra (near Midleton), Aghada, Saleen, Rostellan, Rathcoursey, Ballintubrid (near Carrigtwohill), Brick Island, Brown Island, Great Island. |
