Flying from Dublin Airport Sat 18 Sept 2010. We join the boats at a modern marina on the Dalmatian coast. The week will be spent exploring the Adriatic Islands and visiting ancient ports in Croatia whilst striving to improve our sailing under the expert eye of Eddie English. The Croatian cruise continues until Sat 25 Sept when we return to Dublin.

Cruise the sun soaked Virgin Islands in the Caribbean Jan 2011
Sail aboard our top class 53' cruiser and visit up to 3 different destinations each day following in the wake of Blackbeard! Visit Tortola, Virgin Gorda, Joost Van Dyke, Peter's Island, Norman Island and other smaller islands. Swim ashore for a beer at the Soggy Dollar and swim with the fish at Norman Island. Underwater cable Aghada to Cuskinny
One Thursday evening at the very start of February a group of seafarers decended on my local, “The Roaring Donkey”, in Cobh and lashed into copious quantities of gin and tonic. As the conversations began to flow it transpired that they were the crew of the Norwegian vessel, “Elektron”, docked at Cork Dockyard in Rushbrooke. Not just any ordinary ship but a specialist vessel for cable laying – she was here to lay the cable from Aghada Power Station to Cuskinny on the Great Island in Cork Harbour.
