Come aboard our superb cruiser racer – the yacht "Holy Grounder" and enjoy a full Irish Regatta with race skipper Eddie English. This is going to be a great learning experience- you are welcome as a beginner, improver or advanced crew member – there is a place for everybody. Eddie has competed in many of the worlds leading regattas and rates this as one of the best "fun" regattas anywhere in the world. He is looking forward to moulding a crew into a race winning team to try to win the "White Sail" Class 1 trophy –  he and the crew from SailCork were runners up at Sovereigns Cup Regatta in 2007 and 2009 – look out Kinsale 2011 – here we come!.
 
Kinsale 
We start off with a full days training on Tuesday 21 June – where you will be patiently coached by Yachtmaster Instructor Eddie English. Racing begins on Wednesday 22 and continues Thur 23 Fri 24 and finishes on Sat 25. Sailing and racing afloat is in the excellent waters off the historic port of Kinsale – with over 130 boats competing that means over 600 sailors out there enjoying competing – meaning more than 1000 sailors and friends partying ashore after sailing!!
SailCork are offering a package for crew which includes training with your resident Yachtmaster Instructor and skipper, accommodation Tue, Wed, Thur and Fri night and breakfast and lunch each day. You will just need money for evening meals and lemonade! Race fees and mooring fees are also covered. The all in fee is €750
 
So come aboard and join the crew- enjoy learning how to race well under the watchful eye of Eddie English – and dont forget the famous Kinsale parties!
