Come aboard our superb cruiser racer "Holy Grounder" and enjoy a full Irish Regatta with race skipper Eddie English. This is going to be a great learning experience- you are welcome as a beginner, improver or advanced crew member - there is a place for everybody. Eddie has competed in many of the worlds leading regattas and rates this as one of the best "fun" regattas anywhere in the world - and is looking forward to moulding a crew into a race winning team to try to retain the "White Sail" Class 1 trophy - which he and the crew from SailCork won at the last Sovereigns Cup Regatta in 2007.
 
Kinsale 
We start off with a full days training on Tuesday 23 June - where you will be patiently coached by Yachtmaster Instructor Eddie English. Racing begins on Wednesday 24 and continues Thur 25 Fri 26 and finishes on Sat 27. Sailing and racing afloat is in the excellent waters off the historic port of Kinsale - with over 130 boats competing that means over 600 sailors out there enjoying competing - meaning more than 1000 sailors and friends partying ashore after sailing!!
 
So come aboard and join the crew- enjoy learning how to race well under the watchful eye of Eddie English - and dont forget the famous Kinsale parties!

September - plenty of action afloat!

The schools have re-opened - a sure sign of change of seasons but we now have excellent weather! - and the prospects are good for the rest of September. The "head of the river" race from COBH to BLACKROCK and on to Cork takes place on Sat 4, we at SailCork have our JUNIOR REGATTA on Sun 12, the dinghy race from Cobh to BALLINACURRA is on Sat 18 as is the "NAVY RACE" to Haulbowline - at SailCork we will be running dinghy sailing, powerboating, cruiser sailing and kayaking at weekends - specialising on juniors on Saturdays and families on Sunday mornings and adults on Sunday afternoons - of course we will have full weekend courses as well ........and at the end of September we begin our evening navigation classes.
