“Holy Grounder” Beneteau 36.7
The "Holy Grounder" went to work immediately after joining the SailCork fleet - a delivery cruise from Dun Laoghaire to East Ferry in May 2008 with Mike Hines as skipper. The skipper and crew were delighted with the performance of the boat - a new age had dawned for sail training in Ireland - the first sailing school to have a boat that was both comfortable and fast - and capable of performing at regattas. A dream realised for SailCork - especially myself - a flagship to be proud of.
After daywork out of East Ferry and a couple of weekends in West Cork "Holy Grounder" was ready to head off on her first big mission - our annual trip to the wonderful Isles of Scilly off the south western tip of Cornwall.
Tune in again tomorrow.................same channell!
