Never been sailing before? This is your chance to try under the expert tuition of Eddie English and the instructors at SailCork. Your first introduction to the thrill of sailing will be in the safe environment of our East Ferry base. The emphasis on this course is to get you out on the water and sailing as quickly as possible.

|Boat||SailCork's fleet of dinghies including single handers and safe specially built training boats to fast exhilarating racing dinghies. RS Vision 16, Raider 18, Walker Bay, Topaz, Topaz Duo etc.|
|Length of Course||2.5 hours|
|Objective||You will gain confidence on the water and will be able to steer and turn the boat while under supervision.|
|Location||SailCork's base at East Ferry near Cobh in Cork Harbour, with sheltered and safe waters suitable for sailing in all weather. Full facilities including a chartroom for briefings, changing rooms and easy access to the water for dinghies.|
|Equipment Included||Boats. Buoyancy aid. Wetsuit available for hire if required.|
|What to bring||1. Plenty of warm clothes, hat + change of clothes in a named bag.|
|Meals||Bring a snack and drink. Pack food in a hard plastic box as often picnic lunch is in a scenic location.|
Introduction to sail trim and boat handling under sail.
