This course introduces elements of all the skills you will need to become a competent sailor. The course takes place in the sheltered safe waters of East Ferry under expert tuition of SailCork instructors. By the end of this course you will be sailing in light wind conditions with assistance from your instructor.

Location | SailCork's base at Marlogue, East Ferry near Cobh in Cork Harbour, with sheltered and safe waters suitable for sailing in all weather. What to bring | 1. Wear wetsuit and booties from home. 2. Cag or waterproof jacket + pants. 3. Change of clothes, runners and a towel in a bag, named. 4. Lunch in a plastic box and drink, named. 5. Sunblock with name No phones or money allowed in the changing rooms. Please hand in to the Senior Instructor. |
Meals | Bring a packed lunch in a plastic box and a drink named. As we picnic some days, a plastic box is essential. Rubbish to be packed for disposal at home. We have a Leave no Trace policy as we respect the environment. |
