"TIME ON THE WATER"
|Boat||SailCork's fleet of dinghies including single handers and safe specially built training boats to fast exhilarating racing dinghies. RS Vision 16, Raider 18, Walker Bay, Topaz, Topaz Duo etc.|
|Length of Course||Half Day 1000-1300 or 1330-1630|
|Objective||Enjoy learning new skills and improving on old ones with professional tuition. The Saturday Sailing Club is about having fun, making friends, improving sailing skills and making inroads up the sailing ladder!|
|Location||SailCork's base at East Ferry near Cobh in Cork Harbour, with sheltered and safe waters suitable for sailing in all weather. Full facilities including a chartroom for briefings, changing rooms and easy access to the water for dinghies.|
|Equipment Included||Boats. Buoyancy aid. Wetsuit available for hire if required.|
|What to bring||1. Plenty of warm clothes, hat + change of clothes in a named bag.|
|Meals||Bring a healthy snack and drink for mid session break. Pack food in a hard plastic box as often picnic lunch is in a scenic location.|
Sessions can use any part of the ISA Small Sailing Boat Scheme syllabus and are tailor made to your requirments, under the expert tuition of SailCork instructors.
Jo, we are back home in the States with wonderful memories of our travels in Ireland. Tops among those memories, say the boys, are the 5 days of sailing with SailCork. At dinner with friends, last night each of them described it as their absolute favorite part of the trip. So thanks to you, Eddie, and everyone there, but especially their young instructor whose name I don't know how to spell! Calad, Kalid, Cal Ed? Anyone, the loved it and learned plenty. I'll keep looking out for that email from, what, "klickconnect.com" or whatever it is.
