|Length of Course||16 evenings, Thurs Oct 18th 2018 to Thurs Feb 27th 2019. Time 19:30-22:15. Venue: Royal Cork Yacht Club, Crosshaven, Co.Cork|
|Objective||This course equips you to navigate safely on coastal and offshore passages. It allows some time for revision of the basics and then moves on to advanced navigation techniques. This course will take your theory knowledge to the standard required for the Coastal Skipper and Yachtmaster Offshore practical exams, concentrating on advanced navigation and meteorology skills.|
|Location||The Royal Cork Yacht Club, Crosshaven.|
|What to bring||Special Exercise pack which consists of the RYA course notes book, course exercises, 2 practice charts and a CD which includes charts, an electronic chart plotter and a full tutorial. This is included in your fee. Bring A4 Notebook and folder, pens, 2B pencils, eraser, sharpener. You will also need a Plotter or Parallel Rulers, Nautical Dividers and a Training Almanac, RYA navigation and weather handbooks. These will all be available for sale on the first evening class.|
