|Length of Course||16 evenings, Thurs Oct 19th to Thurs Feb 28th. Time 19:30-22:15. Venue: Royal Cork Yacht Club, Crosshaven, Co.Cork|
|Objective||This course equips you to navigate safely on coastal and offshore passages. It allows some time for revision of the basics and then moves on to advanced navigation techniques. This course will take your theory knowledge to the standard required for the Coastal Skipper and Yachtmaster Offshore practical exams, concentrating on advanced navigation and meteorology skills.|
|Location||The chartroom at SailCork's base at East Ferry near Cobh. Also in your local club.|
|Equipment Included||Special Exercise pack which consists of the RYA course notes book, course exercises, 2 practice charts and a CD which includes charts, an electronic chart plotter and a full tutorial.|
|What to bring||A4 Notebook, pens, 2B pencils, eraser, sharpener. You will also need a Plotter or Parallel Rulers, Nautical Dividers and a Training Almanac. You may wish to purchase some extra books on navigation, meteorology etc - these and all of the above items are all available from SailCork which has a very comprehensive stock or nautical publications and charts.|

|Pre Course||Participants should have attended a Day Skipper Course and have experience in practical navigation.|
