SailCork have been teaching juniors afloat since the mid 1970’s and pioneered the Powerboat Scheme in Ireland. It was no surprise to the maritime community when Eddie English and his crew were the first powerboat school in Ireland to develop a special scheme especially for juniors. The Junior Powerboat Course provides a practical introduction to boat handling skills in open power driven craft. We offer two different levels for juniors - beginner and improver. These courses are specially designed for juniors by our team of experienced powerboat instructors. Pupils learn how to be a useful crew in a powerboat and move on to develop skills necessary to drive a powerboat - learning that safety is no.1 !Read more
