Teenage Cruiser Sailing

Fun afloat on our Teenage Cruiser Courses!

Come sailing with us on the yacht "Holy Grounder" - Beneteau

Sailcork specialises in training teenagers (13-17 years) on Yachts to become Competent Crew members.   We schedule courses during school term, school breaks and holidays.  It is ideal for giving bored teenagers an activity whereby they learn a new life-long skill. They become useful and interested in the family or friend’s boat and become an asset onboard. Who knows,  it may be the beginning of a new career ! What better way to learn the ropes, than from Eddie English who is teaching sailing to students ages 3 to 85  for the last 40 years.

The build up has begun............ not long to go now to one of the best Regattas in the world - Cork Week! This bi-annual feast of sailing and fun runs from 12-16 July at the Royal Cork Yacht Club in Crosshaven Co. Cork Ireland. This gathering of the "good, the bad and the ugly" of sailing has a place in everybody's heart - it is simply the best - great racing afloat for 5 days and a festival of fun ashore for over a week. I wouldn't miss it for love nor money. You too can get afloat with SailCork. Follow the link below and find out more about this fantastic regatta..........
